Storm Tracker

Oklahoma is known for storms.

We got a taste of one on Monday evening as reporters began talking about 60-70mph winds and dime sized hail being reported south of OKC.

When the storm approached it didn't look to bad.

There were still reports of high winds and severe rainfall rates - 5"/hour and we thought we were going to have a rough ride.

The skies became pretty dark and the wind did begin to pick up.

But in the end the main storm fell apart before it got all the way to us. We did get some wind gusts but nothing capable of much damage. We saw a couple of trailer awnings and screen shelters that got messed up but aside from that the only result was some much needed rain.

And when morning came - a spectacular sunrise (I was fishing of course!)

God's beauty is visible at all times of the day.
