Thankfully, at least one of us caught something we could keep the first two trips out this year.

I caught several fish including this little red with a lure stuck in his throat. I managed to extract it before releasing him but caught another with a jighead lodged so deep I just left it there.
We were fishing down the Diversion Channel in our usual spot across from the Redfish Hole at the mouth of a side creek.We caught some small flounder and sheepshead using live shrimp.
